Thing Two | Guelph Photographer

I posted about my Thing One a little while ago. Jack is my second born. He just turned two and so I took him out to photograph and document him at this funny, adorable yet challenging age. Let me tell you, two has got to be THE hardest age to photograph. They are quick and tend to run away from you, and they typically do not appreciate a camera in their face. Jack is no exception. The session started with tears, and I thought I would leave empty handed. Then I started throwing dandelions in the air, and Jack thought that was the funniest thing ever. *phew* I manged to quickly snap a few photos in between throws.;)

At two, Jack doesn’t go anywhere without a car in his hand. He is absolutely, positively obsessed with all things cars and trucks. He loves to snuggle with mama when he’s in the right mood. His favourite show is Toopy and Binoo, although Dora is quickly becoming a contender. He adores his big sister and wants to do everything she does. When she is at preschool, he walks around aimlessly and says, “where care go?”  His favourite word is “mine” and he will sit for as long as you’ll let him and  read books. He’s a sweetheart, and we love him.:)

Thing One | Guelph Photographer

We lovingly refer to our kids as thing one and thing two.;)This past week, I managed to take them out individually and photograph them. (I will post thing two’s photos next) I love capturing all those details that make them who they are. Claire is a girly girl, yet she loves to catch bugs. She loves wearing pigtails and dresses, yet adores superheros. She asks a million questions a day, and talks a mile a minute. She tells really bad knock knock jokes, and she has the biggest heart I know. I wish she could stay four years old forever, but at least I will always have these photos to look back on.

One Year Old | KW Baby Photographer

I love when I get to see babies grow. I photographed this little cutie when she was just three months old, and she was recently back for some one year photos. She had a blast with the balloons and even though it was just the beginning of March, we were able to get outside for a couple family photos.

I couldn’t help but just stare at this tiny little boy in awe. he is so perfect! He’s the tiniest baby I’ve photographed yet, and has the cutest, blonde spiky hair. He also has an adorable two year old brother. I had so much fun with this family!
