Also, please do not let them sleep before hand. Instead try giving them a bath, let them hang out in a diaper, tickle their toes and even let them fuss for a little bit. This will ensure those sleepy, newborn photos! Sessions last between 1-2 hours. The easiest way to ensure a sleepy baby is a willingness to nurse or bottle feed on and off while you are here. Please bring a soother along. Dads: A pair of jeans and a form fitting t-shirt work best. Moms: A form fitting tank top or shirt in a neutral colour is perfect! The idea is to keep the focus on your relationship with baby so simple designs and neutral colours are what we are aiming for. I will photograph you in flattering angles and lighting to bring out the natural beauty in your family! Sisters can wear a neutral tank or dress and brothers can wear a snug pair of jeans and a neutral t-shirt or they can go shirtless depending on comfort level and your preference. If siblings are joining for the session, we will start with sibling and family photos first. It can be tricky to get baby to stay asleep if older siblings are there so I recommend one parent or someone else take siblings home after their photos are done.
