Just wanted to share a few images of this gorgeous baby girl at 10 days old. Did you know the vast majority of newborns I photograph are under two weeks old? This ensures nice sleepy babies, that can curl up comfortably into the poses you see in my images.

If you are thinking about booking a newborn session, it’s best to do it when you are pregnant. If you’ve already had your baby and would like photos, contact me ASAP and I will try my best to squeeze you in.

I have photographed quite a few babies this month! I’m not sure why, but it seems April always brings more newborns than any other month. I am enjoying photographing all these sweet babies though.

I actually photographed this little boy a few months ago, but I thought I would share a couple from his session. Such a sweet little baby boy.

Oh how I miss, warm sunny evenings with that beautiful golden light. But it is (hopefully) right around the corner! These were taking last year of two adorable babies that had just turned one! I photographed them when they were newborns and I loved seeing how big they had gotten. Like all twins, I’ve photographed, they had very different personalities, but they are both so sweet. I can’t wait to photograph them again as they grow.

I’ve said it before, but I love when I get to photograph families multiple times as they grow. I first photographed Emmett way back when his mom wanted a fun way to announce her pregnancy. (Note big sister’s shirt)

Then I photographed him when he had grown big in his mama’s belly just weeks before he was born…

And then when he was born, I captured some beautiful newborn portraits. I believe he was about a week old.

And just recently, I did his six month photos. This is one of my favourite ages to photograph. Once they are sitting up sturdy but not quite crawling, they are just perfect age for a photoshoot. They are just so adorable and easy to photograph but many don’t think to book a session at this time. I am planning on adding a 6-8 month old mini session package so if you would like more info feel free to contact me and I can let you know how it works.

I photographed these adorable twin boys this past fall on a chilly but beautiful day in Guelph. They are born just a day apart from my oldest. It is always fun to see twins, how the interact and how very different they are from each other. these two clearly love each other and I think you can see that in these photos.

I last photographed this family in the fall of 2011. You can see their session here. They came back again this past fall. I love seeing how much kids have grown when I have returning families. One of my absolute favourite ages to photograph is babies who are about 6-12 months old. They are sitting up, and full of smiles. Yet, people rarely book a sessions for this age. This time is so fleeting. The baby stage is over in the blink of an eye and you can never go back to capture this time. This is why I’m offering a promotion for these sweet babies.
